THACO TRAILERS hands over front-loading low bed tridem trailers to BJM INC.

Recently, at THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park (Quang Nam, Vietnam), Thaco Trailers (under THACO INDUSTRIES) held a ceremony to hand over a shipment of front-loading low bed tridem trailers to BJM Inc., a Philippine diversified corporation with operations spanning the automotive, transportation, and logistics sectors. These units are classified as semi-trailers—an important distinction in heavy transport, especially when comparing trailer vs semi-trailers in logistics applications.

These specialized trailers are engineered for transporting oversized and heavy cargo such as construction machinery, overlength steel structures, and 20ft. ISO containers. Each unit features a low-bed structure for enhanced stability, a detachable gooseneck with a modern hydraulic system for convenient loading, and a sturdy I-beam frame made from high-strength alloy steel, offering a payload capacity of up to 60.3 tons. The trailers are also equipped with Fuwa 15-ton axles and a WABCO 24V-4S/2M air anti-brake system, optimizing control and safety during transport.

At the ceremony, the representative of BJM Inc. praised the exceptional quality of Thaco Trailers’ semi-trailers, highlighting innovations in their design, payload capacity, durability, and operational efficiency. The trailers were also custom-built to meet BJM’s operational needs, ensuring seamless integration with local conditions and regulatory standards. In the near future, the Philippine corporation expects to continue collaborating with Thaco Trailers to supply other types of semi-trailers.
