THACO INDUSTRIES ENHANCES QUALITY OF HUMAN RESOURCES THROUGH TRAINING
THACO INDUSTRIES is implementing a strategy to expand its scale, enhance production capacity, and boost exports. To meet the demands of production and business, the Corporation specializes in training knowledge and management skills and developing multi-skilled employees, forming a workforce of industrial personnel who are highly specialized, dynamic, creative, and have a strong sense of discipline.

Diverse training topics and formats
Since the beginning of the year, THACO INDUSTRIES has organized nearly 300 direct training courses with almost 9,000 participants. The types of training include training at factories and training at THACO College by internal instructors and outsourced instructors.
The training content is designed to be appropriate for each group within the Corporation, aiming to enhance professional skills (welding, painting, assembly), management skills related to production processes, quality, and soft skills (communication in English, presentation skills…), meeting the learning and development needs of employees.
In April 2024, THACO INDUSTRIES put into operation the E-Learning training management software to organize online training for personnel with content such as production processes, machinery operation instructions, waste identification and elimination, management skills, occupational safety and fire prevention, 5S methodology, Kaizen philosophy…

The software has outstanding features such as course management, class schedules, and notifications… helping employees, especially new staff, conveniently and proactively participate in training courses. More than 15,000 employees have participated in learning and taking tests on the software. This helps managers and HR executives monitor progress and training pathways according to competency frameworks while also easily searching for necessary information related to administration, expertise…
Through training courses, the workforce is equipped with knowledge, enhanced capabilities, skills, and accumulated experience to apply in practice, contributing to increased productivity and work efficiency, gradually perfecting and developing themselves alongside the growth of the Corporation.
Training linked to practical work
To help employees easily absorb and apply knowledge to their work, THACO INDUSTRIES focuses on developing training programs and specialized topics that align with production and business requirements. Besides, it utilizes internal instructors who are knowledgeable in their fields and have practical experience at factories and units.
Ms. Nguyễn Thị Phương Loan – Deputy Head of the Internal Management Department in the Strategy, Planning & System Management Division, is currently teaching courses on regulations, greenhouse gas inventory methods, and ISO 14064-1 standards for employees in the management profession and factories, units. Ms. Loan shared: “The training course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills in data collection, establishing a greenhouse gas inventory roadmap, thereby complying with regulations suitable for the actual situation at each unit.”

Mr. Cao Ngọc Quyền, A welding instructor at THACO Specialized Equipment Company, is responsible for training new personnel and factory workers in MIG, MAG, FCAW, and TIG welding techniques. He stated: “To date, more than 300 personnel have been trained, thereby meeting production requirements, increasing productivity, and minimizing the accidents in the workplace.”

Regularly participating in training courses organized by THACO INDUSTRIES, Ms. Trần Thị Mỹ Linh – Team leader of the Management System at THACO Specialized Equipment Company shared: “Through these training courses, I have been equipped with many useful and interesting knowledge that I can apply to my work. This is also an opportunity to learn, share experiences, and enhance our connection, working together more effectively.”

In the coming time, THACO INDUSTRIES will focus on organizing advanced training courses on management capacity, foreign languages for leaders and managers, training courses on product knowledge, manufacturing technology of parts and components, and mechanics for sales staff… while improving and enhancing the features of the E-Learning training management software.
Through that, contributing to building a team of employees with good professional skills and competencies, meeting the requirements for the new generation of industrial workforce.
