THACO INDUSTRIES is a trusted industrial lifting equipment manufacturer with large-scale production capability and advanced fabrication expertise. The company produces up to 16,800 tons of steel structures and 60,000 agro-industrial and mechanical products annually, supporting global OEM and industrial equipment programs through integrated manufacturing solutions. Its manufacturing foundation is further demonstrated through the following operational milestones:
- 20+ years of experience
- 23+ worldwide partners

Types of Lifting Equipment Produced by THACO INDUSTRIES
THACO INDUSTRIES supplies a wide range of industrial lifting, including complete equipment, component and structural assemblies and batch-shipped parts. Each product type is engineered for safety, durability and operational efficiency in demanding industrial environments.
- Structural Lifting Platforms
THACO INDUSTRIES fabricate robust structural lifting platforms designed for stable vertical movement of heavy loads. These platforms feature reinforced steel frames, guided travel mechanisms and safety interlocks for industrial maintenance and production applications.
- Hydraulic Lifting Equipment
Our hydraulic lifting equipment includes hydraulic lift tables, scissor lifts and hydraulic cargo lifts. These systems use high-quality cylinders and pumps to provide smooth, controlled lifting with precise height adjustment and overload protection.
- Mechanical Lifting Frames
THACO INDUSTRIES manufacture mechanical lifting frames that rely on screw mechanisms or linkage systems for load positioning. These frames provide the primary load path for lifting operations conducted using hoists, chain blocks, or other mechanical lifting devices.
- Hoisting Systems
The corporation produces hoisting system components, including structural supports, drum housings and mounting frames. These systems enable vertical lifting of heavy materials using wire ropes, chains, or belt mechanisms.
- Crane/Overhead Lifting Components
THACO INDUSTRIES supplies components for cranes and overhead lifting systems, such as crane beams, end carriages and rail brackets. These parts are fabricated to support safe, smooth travel along overhead tracks in workshops and warehouses.
- Industrial Manipulators
The corporation fabricates structural arms and support frames for industrial manipulators that assist operators in handling heavy or awkward loads. These systems reduce physical strain while improving positioning accuracy and production speed.
THACO INDUSTRIES’s Manufacturing Process
Engineering & Drawing Development
THACO INDUSTRIES reviews and interprets customer-approved designs and technical documents. Based on these inputs, we develop detailed production drawings including structural layouts, welding details, and assembly breakdowns. This stage focuses on engineering detailing and drawing breakdown rather than new product R&D, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Material Selection
Appropriate materials are selected based on the specific application requirements. Carbon steel serves as the primary structural material, while stainless steel is chosen for corrosion resistance and aluminum for lightweight or aesthetic components. Selection criteria include load capacity, environmental conditions, durability, and finish requirements.

Cutting & Blank Preparation
Raw materials are prepared using CNC cutting technologies such as laser cutting for high-precision components and plasma or oxy-fuel cutting for thick steel plates. Additional processes include punching for holes and connection features, as well as edge preparation for welding. This approach ensures high dimensional accuracy and optimal surface quality for downstream processes.
Forming & Machining
Components are shaped and refined through press brake bending, rolling, and metal forming processes. Where required, machining operations including drilling, milling, and turning are performed for components such as shafts, pins, and connectors. This stage enables precise geometry and functional interfaces for subsequent assembly.
Welding & Structural Fabrication
Substructures and complete frames are assembled using MAG welding for carbon and alloy steel, as well as TIG or MIG welding for stainless steel, aluminum, and thin materials. Robotic welding systems provide consistency and productivity, while manual welding is used for complex or critical joints. All welding follows qualified procedures (WPS) and is performed by certified welders.
Surface Finishing & Treatment
Surface cleaning and finishing are performed through grinding and weld cleaning, followed by surface inspection and correction of any weld defects. Depending on requirements, protective treatments such as galvanizing, phosphating, E-coating, or powder coating are applied. These processes enhance corrosion resistance, durability, and visual quality.
Assembly (If required)
THACO INDUSTRIES assembles structural and mechanical components depending on project scope. This includes the installation of hydraulic systems (cylinders, pumps) and the integration of mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, fasteners). Proper alignment, fit, and functional integration are ensured throughout the assembly process.
Inspection & Quality Control
Each fabricated assembly undergoes a comprehensive quality control inspection, covering dimensional inspection, visual weld inspection (VT) and non-destructive testing (UT, MT) if required. These checks ensure that every product complies with the technical specifications and applicable quality standards.
Testing (If applicable)
Complete lifting equipment assemblies are subject to functional and load testing prior to delivery, including static load testing (typically ≥125% of the rated load) and dynamic testing (movement, stability, braking performance). This validation ensures safe and reliable operation before delivery.
Delivery & Packaging
Products are prepared for shipment based on the agreed supply scope, which may include semi-finished components, sub-assemblies, or fully assembled equipment. Packaging methods include standard container shipment or flat rack containers for oversized equipment. Products may be delivered in disassembled or modular form to optimize transportation and installation.
