THACO INDUSTRIES – Reputable & Professional Metal Forming Manufacturer

Pressure forming technology (metal forming) enables the production of parts with complex shapes and dimensions while ensuring excellent mechanical properties, high productivity, and cost efficiency. Therefore, this machining method plays an essential role in the field of mechanical engineering and contributes significantly to the development of Vietnam’s heavy industry.

What is metal forming?

Metal forming is performed by applying external forces through specialized equipment, causing the metal to deform along a predetermined direction to create products with the desired shape and dimensions.

Characteristics of the metal forming method

Metal forming, also known as chipless machining, is characterized by the fact that it does not destroy the continuity or strength of the metal, thereby maintaining the material’s inherent mechanical properties. This method offers high productivity, material efficiency, and the ability to produce parts with high precision.

Metal forming technology at THACO INDUSTRIES

With modern machinery systems, advanced equipment, and a team of experienced engineers and skilled technicians, THACO INDUSTRIES is committed to providing customers with high-quality metal forming products that meet the most stringent technical requirements.

Bending – Punching – Stamping technology

THACO INDUSTRIES has invested in state-of-the-art bending, punching, and stamping technology, with more than 100 presses ranging from 45 to 1,000 tons of force. Among them, CNC press brakes can process products up to 12,000 mm in length. Particularly, with computer-programmed drawings, CNC bending technology is fully automated, ensuring stable machining results without warping or angular distortion, thus providing perfect forming capability for the final product. The bending–punching–stamping process can handle complex parts in large quantities while maintaining high precision and consistency.

Hydraulic pressing technology

Hydraulic pressing is one of the most widely used metal forming technologies in the modern mechanical engineering industry. Utilizing compressive force generated by hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic presses can shape materials into the desired form within a short time. This technology is typically applied in forming mechanical components or applying pressure to materials in industrial manufacturing.

THACO INDUSTRIES has invested in a 1,000-ton hydraulic press with a table size of up to 3,500 x 2,200 mm, designed to handle large and heavy metal blocks according to customer requirements.

Pipe Bending Technology

THACO INDUSTRIES utilizes CNC pipe bending machines equipped with automated control systems for the bending head and motion axes, enabling the production of highly precise and uniform pipe bending products. CNC pipe bending machines can process various materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with diameters ranging from Ø38 mm to 110 mm.
