Through a joint venture and technology transfer partnership with <strong>Daewon Corporation (Korea)<\/strong> \u2014 a tier-one supplier to global automakers such as <strong>Hyundai<\/strong> and <strong>Kia<\/strong> \u2014 THACO INDUSTRIES has mastered advanced manufacturing technology and is now capable of producing leaf springs that meet global quality standards. The plant covers an area of <strong>2 hectares<\/strong> and has a production capacity of <strong>12,000 tons per year<\/strong>. Its production lines are equipped with advanced and automated machinery, including <strong>hydraulic cutting machines, coil-eye heating furnaces, ear-forming and wrapping equipment, taper rolling furnaces, leaf-end forming devices, leaf bending machines for both long and short springs, tempering furnaces, and shot-blasting &amp; dip-painting systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10316\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10316\" style=\"width: 540px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thacoindustries.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/5-lo-gia-nhiet-nhip-dai-edit.jpg\" alt=\"Heating furnace for long leaf springs at THACO INDUSTRIES\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10316\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Heating furnace for long leaf springs at THACO INDUSTRIES<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <strong>heat treatment process<\/strong> is fully automated and applies the same technology as Daewon\u2019s most advanced global leaf spring manufacturing lines. Every product undergoes rigorous quality inspection to ensure that it meets both <strong>domestic operating conditions<\/strong> and <strong>export market requirements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The factory operates a <strong>digitalized production management system<\/strong> through the integration of a <strong>SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)<\/strong> monitoring and data collection system, and an <strong>MES (Manufacturing Execution System)<\/strong> for production analytics and operation control. These smart systems enhance production efficiency and help reduce product costs by approximately <strong>5% annually<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Expanding_Leaf_Spring_Exports_Worldwide\"><\/span><strong>Expanding Leaf Spring Exports Worldwide<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>With core technology transferred from Daewon, the factory has mastered design, production, and development of a wide range of <strong>automotive leaf spring products<\/strong> for both domestic and international markets.<\/p>\n<p>Using raw materials that comply with <strong>JIS G 4801:2011 (Japan)<\/strong> and designed and tested according to <strong>JIS B 2710 standards<\/strong>, the plant\u2019s products achieve the same quality levels as those produced in Korea. With excellent <strong>elasticity, durability, load-bearing capacity, and smooth performance<\/strong> on diverse terrains, THACO INDUSTRIES\u2019 leaf springs are widely used in <strong>trucks, dump trucks, buses, and semi-trailers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Key product lines include <a href=\"https:\/\/thacoindustries.com\/en\/what-are-truck-leaf-springs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>leaf springs<\/strong><\/a> for <strong>light-duty trucks<\/strong> (Kia, Hyundai), <strong>medium-duty trucks<\/strong> (Ollin), <strong>dump trucks<\/strong> (Forland), and <strong>semi-trailer suspension springs<\/strong>. Both <strong>assembled spring sets<\/strong> and <strong>individual spring leaves<\/strong> are supplied not only to THACO GROUP\u2019s manufacturing facilities and domestic customers but are also <strong>exported to Korea, Australia, Germany, Dominica<\/strong>, and other markets \u2014 with <strong>Korea<\/strong> being the primary export destination.
